Dear LMTA Members, Mark your calendars! We are excited to announce our first-ever Accounting, HR & Finance Conference: Drive the Bottom Line for Truckers on Tuesday, October 13, from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in Baton Rouge. This afternoon session will take place the evening before our Board of Directors meeting and fun evening activity. We originally planned to hold the board meeting in Lafayette this year. However, with the addition of this new conference and our strong existing relationship with the Hilton (one of the homes of our Seafood Gala), we have consolidated everything in Baton Rouge for 2026. Next year we plan to host the board meeting, evening activity, and this mini-conference in Lafayette, and we will continue alternating locations going forward following our then chairman's location. More details on the agenda, speakers, and registration will follow soon. For now, please save the date. We look forward to bringing you practical, trucking-specific content on the business side of the industry.
