Dayries Consulting Services established in May 2021.

Dayries Consulting Services, LLC., specializes in applying years of experience working with transportation and fixed facilities, shippers, carriers, freight forwarders, standards body officials, and others related to the transport of dangerous goods. He continues to assist local companies with their DOT compliance and assist with their regulatory audits when needed.  Our owner served as a Senior Technician Trooper for the Louisiana State Police, the regulatory agency responsible for writing and enforcing Hazardous Materials Regulations.  

Owner, John Dayries, served as Incident Commander of a myriad of transportation and fixed site emergency response incidents, known for his regulatory knowledge and exceptional training credentials. He also served as a State Police Haz-Mat Training Instructor.  Dayries continues to train several state and local emergency response agencies as well as those in private industry.

Our expertise and experience include 26 years of service in law enforcement with 24 years in the Emergency Services Unit (Hazardous Materials and Explosives Control). He has extensive training in emergency response involving all modes of transportation and fixed site facilities.   

In August 2025, DCS Transportation began operations as a sole Hot-Shot transportation company with intentions for further growth in the transportation industry.
