The Louisiana Loggers Association and Louisiana Motor Transport Association invite you to join us on April 28 for Trucking Day at the Capitol, an essential event dedicated to advocating for the future of the trucking industry.

This is your opportunity to engage directly with lawmakers, discuss the challenges facing our industry, and promote solutions that will drive trucking, logging, and transportation forward across Louisiana. Your voice is critical in shaping policies that impact our businesses, our workforce, and our economy.

The day begins at 11:45 am with a networking lunch featuring a statewide elected official, setting the stage for meaningful discussions. From there, we’ll walk to the state capitol to attend a key legislative hearing, where participants will gain firsthand insight into the legislative process and effective advocacy strategies.

In the afternoon, we’ll strategize next steps, ensuring our message is strong, unified, and impactful. The event will conclude with a high-stakes advocacy meeting, providing one last opportunity to reinforce our priorities with decision-makers.
