WIM-LA Tour Starts Next Week: Grab a Friend & Join Us in Lafayette & Shreveport! - Graceful Navigation: Women Excelling in Male-Dominated Fields

The Women In Motion Board is excited to launch a new statewide event series this fall and invites you to join us for Graceful Navigation: Women Excelling in Male-Dominated Fields.

This free event series, open to women and men, will make four stops across Louisiana, bringing together women who have successfully built careers in traditionally male-dominated industries. Through candid conversations and audience Q&A, our panelists will share how they've earned respect, overcome challenges, and built successful careers while fostering strong professional relationships with the men they work alongside.

Whether you're looking to grow into a leadership role, support the women on your team, or simply gain a new perspective, these discussions will provide practical insights, real-world experiences, and valuable networking opportunities.

These events are free and open to all, and we encourage you to share this opportunity with the women in your organization and throughout your professional network.

2026 Tour Schedule

Registration is required for each event, but there is no cost to attend.

We hope you'll join us at one of our stops this fall and help us continue growing the Women In Motion community across Louisiana.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Take the 2026 ATRI Survey + Enter to Win a Bottle of WhistlePig!

The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) has launched its 2026 Top Industry Issues Survey, and we want Louisiana’s trucking industry to make its voice heard!

This annual survey identifies the top challenges facing trucking and helps guide national research, advocacy and industry priorities.

This year, LMTA’s goal is to expand Louisiana’s response. Please encourage multiple people within your company to complete the survey, not just the owner. Anyone connected to the trucking industry, directly or indirectly, is encouraged to participate.

TAKE THE SURVEY: https://www.research.net/r/2026-TII-Survey

As an added incentive, one Louisiana respondent will be selected at random to win a bottle of WhistlePig 15 Year Straight Rye, valued at more than $200!

The survey closes October 2, 2026. Help us make sure Louisiana trucking is well represented in the national results!
